Local film company in research boost.

Hastings local film company ScreenPlay Productions, based at the Innovation Centre, is celebrating being selected for a prestigious UK training scheme in partnership with Channel 4.

The Research Centre (TRC) has chosen thirteen production companies from across the UK. ScreenPlay Productions will be offered critical market intelligence and unprecedented access to network commissioners. TRC runs a slate of acclaimed training projects and is the UK's leading training agency for talent and business development within the creative content industry.

"We were delighted when we heard we'd been successful," says Jan Jung of ScreenPlay. "If Channel 4 wants to invest in us it must mean we're doing something right. The door is now open to secure network commissions."
