ScreenPlay Productions has done it again!

Jan Jung from ScreenPlay Productions has been re-elected onto the Pact Council (Producers Alliance for Film & Television.) He is the only affiliate member to be re-elected. Jan will also continue his work on the Nations and Regions Policy Committee, one of the essential sub-committees advising the Council on issues relating to regional production.

Pact is the UK trade association that represents the commercial interests of independent feature film, television, animation and interactive media companies. It is also the largest representative group of screen-based content producers in the UK and the largest trade association in the film, television and interactive media sectors.

Jan comments:

“Continuity is important when working with big issues such as securing increased commissioning quotas from the broadcasters to the regional independent producers. I’m therefore pleased to receive the mandate to continue to represent a large number of new and small producers outside London, and hope 2008 will see a significant change in the way the TV networks perceive regional productions based on some of the significant work done by PACT during 2007.”
