Is your company Lean enough?
The Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS) South East is now offering Lean Facilitator Workshops to businesses in this area. A Lean Facilitator can change the culture and skills of a whole company.
Lean manufacturing, sometimes known simply as 'Lean', is a production practice that looks at how a business can focus on reducing waste to improve overall customer value.
Many businesses have already embarked on 'Lean' programmes to look at eliminating waste within their processes and implement improvements to deliver a better service and better profits. If you are one of those businesses, perhaps now is the time to take the next step and improve the skills within your company by developing Lean facilitators and champions capable of identifying opportunities and delivering results.
The workshop programme delivers a total of five days training - three days of Lean techniques and two days on facilitation skills – with costs heavily subsidised. The aim is to develop Lean Champions where each participant will drive continuous change by training additional employees and facilitating improvement activities.
Benefits
- help your business compete better in every process and every activity
- build upon the success of lean manufacturing implementation, which very often comes to a halt once initial changes are made
- share ideas for improvement across the organisation to help staff understand, and be in favour of, new improvement techniques
- establish a direction for a company’s improvement efforts
- create a basis for an effective lean implementation plan
The next programme of workshops in this area will be held in April and cost just £950 plus VAT for up to two people. For more details please contact Gary Barr at MAS South East: 07830 071 066.
